Construction Consultant
Being a Consultant
M.I.C., Inc. has the expertise needed
in any type of construction project and that makes them
uniquely suited as the construction consultant. From
seemingly simple tasks such as blueprint reading to
far more complex tasks such as envisioning how (and
how well) the blueprint will translate into the project
vision, M.I.C. has wide ranging experience to help their
clients by simplifying and communicating the construction
process-guiding their clients through the maze of process
and product options to a finished project that meets
their needs.
M.I.C. specializes in special projects,
from Elgin's Riverwalk to the Fabyan Windmill. The company
has a wide range of experience to draw from regardless
of the specific nature or size of any given project.
M.I.C. knows how to construct, how to renovate, and
how to "fix" projects whose construction/renovation
is over budget, past scheduled completion, and /or not
to specification.
"Process" vs. end product
expertise
M.I.C. understands the "processes"
of construction. Regardless of the type of project,
the processes used in quality construction remain the
same. Safety, quality, costs, schedule, all have a major
impact on a project. The improper sequence of the work
can have a dramatic effect on all of these. M.I.C.,
Inc. has a clear understanding of this and prides itself
from pre-construction to completion on having the sequence
planned well in advance.
M.I.C. understands the special needs (products
or processes) of municipal projects, churches, restaurants,
and other public facilities. From the beginning we plan
the project to maximize the efficiency of all resources.
Thus compressing the time spent in actual construction,
less time translates into cost savings to the owner.
The company understands occupied space
construction principles and other
out of the ordinary construction projects. This special
knowledge is the key when trying to determine both
costs
and phases of these special projects. With these special
projects also comes greater risk. M.I.C. has the knowledge
to manage the associated risk and the ability to reduce
its impact.
Professional team
M.I.C.s expertise in the construction
trades and a team of contract professionals backs up
construction processes in safety, human resources, finance,
marketing, accounting, and the law. The value to our
clients is the broad range of expertise that M.I.C.
